ZAPATA,TEXAS--- Alberto Melgoza Villarreal 68, passed away on Monday October 26, 2026, at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

Mr. Melgoza is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Guadalupe Melgoza; brothers, Roberto Melgoza, Roel Angel Melgoza; sisters, Ester Sanchez, Roselba Melgoza.

Mr. Melgoza is survived by his wife of 44 years, Rosa Maria Melgoza; sons, Alfonso (Sherrie) Melgoza, Alberto Melgoza; daughters, Osiris (Rudy) Luna, Maisy (Carlos) Talamante, Celeste (George) Vasquez; grandchildren, Alaya, Timothy, Dante, Alina, Gael, Antonio, Jacob, Beya, Kinsley, Adam, Evelyn, Charllote, Fonzo, Bailey; great-granddaughter, Alani; brothers, Jose Melgoza, Jorge Melgoza, Jesus Melgoza, Juan Melgoza, Fernando Melgoza, Raquel Canseco, Patricia Nuñez, Anel Barrera and by numerous other family members and friends.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
