ZAPATA, TEXAS--- Alba Gonzalez 71, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 in Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Gonzalez is preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Florinda Tovar; brothers, Javier Tovar, Rodolfo Tovar, and Victor Armando Tovar; sisters, Yolanda Ambriz and Sylvia Gonzalez-Rangel.

Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by her husband, Antonio Gonzalez; sons, Antonio (Armandina) Gonzalez, Juan (Ana Sylvia) Gonzalez, and Francisco Xavier Gonzalez; daughters, Leticia (Jose Luis) Gonzalez and Eloisa (†Armando) Cuellar, Martha (Martin) Salinas, Beatriz Gonzalez, and Kendra Alexa Gonzalez; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Blanca Martinez, Consuelo Gonzalez, and Imelda Rangel; and by numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. followed by a rosary at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart at 10:30 a.m. for a 11:00 a.m. graveside service at Zapata County Cemetery.
