ZAPATA, TEXAS---Adan H. Lopez 90, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Specialty Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Mr. Lopez is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Del Socorro M. Lopez; parents, Aurelio and Aurora Lopez and brothers, Oscar Lopez, Amando Lopez, Armando Lopez and Hector (Olga) Lopez.

Mr. Lopez is survived by his daughters, Abagail Lopez, Deborah (Javier) Zapata; grandchildren, Santiago Adan Rubio, Skye Ann Rubio, Marco Antonio Zapata, Sebastian Zapata; sister-in-law, Maria Pura Lopez and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Thursday, December 21, 2023 we will open at 8:00 a.m. and the funeral procession will depart at 9:45 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery, including full Military Honors by the Zapata County Color Guard.
