ZAPATA, TEXAS---Adan Garcia 77, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at his residence in Zapata, Texas.

Mr. Garcia is preceded in death by his parents, Amado and Porfiria Garcia; brothers, Amado and Juan Angel Garcia.

Mr. Garcia is survived by his wife, Elda B. Garcia; daughters, Viola Garcia, Rocio (Ricardo J.) Muñoz; grandchildren, Ricardo J. Muñoz, Paola Gomez and Rey Muñoz; brothers, Cesar (Placida) Garcia, Rene (Ofilia) Garcia, Hector (Domitila) Garcia, Pablo (Hilaria) Garcia, Hugo Garcia, Juan De Dios (Maria G.) Garcia; sisters, Margarita Garcia (†Heberto) Ramos, Diana (Ignacio) Flores, Diamantina (Ramiro) Resendez; sisters-in-law, Raquenel Garcia and Cenovia Garcia and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Friday, October 18, 2019, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a vigil at 6:30 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 9:45 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
