ZAPATA, TEXAS---Acerina Herrera 42, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Herrera is preceded in death by her daughter, Daniella Herrera; father, Roberto Medina and a sister, Gabriela Medina.

Mrs. Herrera is survived by her husband, Ramon Herrera; daughter, Victoria Herrera; mother, Araceli Medina; brother, Roberto Medina, Jr.; sister, Martha (Sergio C. Jr.) Ramirez and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Acerina was a graduate of Zapata High School Class of 1998.

Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at 8:30 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home with a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
