ZAPATA, TEXAS---Abraham Angel Gutierrez 55, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at M.D. Anderson Center in Houston, Texas.

Mr. Gutierrez is preceded in death by his mother, Maria Elsa Gutierrez.

Mr. Gutierrez is survived by his wife, Rosa M. Gutierrez; sons, Abraham Angel Gutierrez, Jr., Marcos Daniel Gutierrez and Alonzo Rene Gutierrez; father, Juan Domingo Gutierrez, Jr.; sister, Veronica (Albert) Martinez; brother, Juan Domingo Gutierrez, III and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Monday, December 9, 2019, from 8 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. with a rosary at 9:30 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart at 10:45 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
