ZAPATA, TEXAS---Abel Peña, Jr. 69, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Falcon Lake Nursing Home in Zapata, Texas.

Mr. Peña is preceded in death by his parents, Abel and Estela Peña and a brother, Oscar J. Peña.

Mr. Peña is survived by his brothers, Ezequiel (Diana R.) Peña, Jose Arnoldo (Lubette) Peña, Juan Peña; sister, Laura E. Rezendiz; sister-in-law, Martha A. Peña and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at 8 a.m. with a rosary at to 9 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

A graveside service will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Zapata County Cemetery.
