SAN YGNACIO, TEXAS—Abel R. Arambula 73, passed away on Sunday October 20, 2024, at his home in San Ygnacio, Texas.

Mr. Arambula had the privilege of calling San Ygnacio his home for all his life. With over 20 years of service to Zapata County, Mr. Arambula  was a dedicated and loyal employee until his retirement.

Mr. Arambula is preceded in death by his father Amador Arambula; mother, Hilda Ramirez; brother Arnoldo Arambula.

Mr. Arambula is survived by his wife of 48 years; Rumalda C. Arambula; daughter, Cynthia (Bernardo) Ramirez Jr; son Abel R. (Maribel) Arambula Jr; grandchildren, Nicole I. Arambula, Abel R. Arambula III, Maribel I. Arambula, Kendra A. Arambula and Cynthia L. Arambula; brother, Mario (Maria) Arambula, Ricardo (Rosa) Vela; sisters San Juana (†Nicandro) Sanchez, Velma Arambula and by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation hours were held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, we opened at 8:30 a.m. with a catholic chapel service at 10:00 a.m., at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services followed at Martinez Cemetery in San Ygnacio, Texas.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
